UV dose of at least 25 mJ/cm² is ensured in any operating mode. Effectively disinfects bacteria (also in spore form), viruses, fungi and moulds.
MEGALIT units work effectively at air velocity from 0.1 to 8 m/s and temperature from 0 to +35 °C due to special thermostabilised UV-emitters based on FOTOTRON UV-lamps.
We use patented reflectors with high UV reflection coefficient to increase the irradiation intensity in the chamber.
Amalgam UV lamps contain no liquid mercury and are not a source of mercury contamination in case of breakage. Waste UV lamps are hazard class III wastes according to the Federal Classification Catalogue of Wastes.
MEGALIT is a series of bactericidal UV units designed for air disinfection in supply and exhaust ventilation and air conditioning systems. Special thermostabilised UV-emitters based on FOTOTRON UV-lamps allow to use MEGALIT units even on main ducts and in air circulation systems of cold rooms.
Each UV unit can be equipped with additional modules for protection against UV radiation going outside the chamber.
The design of the chamber excludes the possibility of accumulation of living microorganisms and their ‘volley’ emissions into the ventilation system, as the entire internal surface of the unit is exposed to high intensity UV radiation.
Intelligent control system includes automatic power adjustment depending on the flow rate, alarm signalling, control of UV-lamps operation and possibility of remote control.
