LIT has been working in the field of UV disinfection since 1991. For these more than 30 years we have not given the ultraviolet market of the country neither to Western nor Asian competitors, unlike many other industries. By the will of fate and persistence of the team, we were one of the first in the world to launch industrial production of amalgam UV lamps - the most efficient source of ultraviolet light - and we maintain this leadership even now, being one of the three largest world companies producing UV equipment. The company has always maintained a high level of R&D and technological developments, thanks to which we are dynamically developing and opening new markets of UV application.

Partnership with EKS Group of Companies has fundamentally strengthened investment, design, technological and production capabilities and allows sustainable development in many industries at the same time.

Our production

More than 250 specialists work in our production centre in Dolgoprudny using the most modern equipment - we are constantly updating and modernising our production equipment fleet, most machines are less than three years old.

Company history

More than 30 years of experience

1991

Foundation of NPO ‘LIT’ by a team of graduates of the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology.

1995

Launch of in-house production of a new generation of amalgam UV lamps.

1996 - 1998

Commissioning of the largest at that time in Europe UV-stations for water disinfection at water supply (400 thousand m3/day) and sewerage (300 thousand m3/day) treatment facilities in Togliatti.

2003

Launch of UV systems for air and surface disinfection at social facilities (medical institutions, schools, kindergartens) and transport (Moscow Metro).

2004 - 2008

Commissioning of the largest UV water disinfection complex in Eurasia. Nine UV stations with unit capacity from 0.3 to 1.5 million m3/day at water supply stations in St. Petersburg.

2005

Launch of the largest UV wastewater disinfection plant in South Korea (Gumi - 330,000 m3/day).

2007

Launch of the world's largest UV wastewater disinfection plant (1.3 million m3/day) (Moscow, Lyuberetsky wastewater treatment facilities).

2008

Commissioning of the largest EU UV water disinfection complex (Budapest, 600,000 m3/day).

2012 - 2013

Launch of a new world's largest UV wastewater disinfection plant with a capacity of 3.125 million m3/day (Moscow, Kuryanovsky wastewater treatment facilities).

2012 - 2022

opening and operation of a production centre in Germany

2014

launch of a unique production line for high-power amalgam lamps with a wavelength of 185 nm.

2016

Start of production of industrial UV systems for air purification from harmful and odourous substances.

2017

Launch of a UV station at Asia's largest underground wastewater treatment plant with a capacity of 780,000 m3/day (Beijing).

2018 - 2021

Commissioning of UV plants in the water supply systems of Berlin and Vienna.

2022

Over 100 hospitals in the Russian Federation installed UV equipment manufactured by NPO LIT to combat HCAI.

2023

Launch of the final UV station of the Moscow programme at Lyuberetsky treatment facilities with a capacity of 1 million m3/day. 100% of Moscow's daily water is now UV disinfected.

2024

a strategic partnership was signed with EKS Group.
