VOLTA Group

UV systems for the disinfection of natural water in large and extra-large water treatment plants

  • Unit capacity from 500 to 10,000 m³/h
  • Minimal head losses
  • Efficient mixing due to staggered arrangement of UV lamps
  • Working pressure up to 10 atm.
The main advantages of the series:
01 /
High power amalgam UV lamps

UV lamps of up to 1 kW are used, which reduces the number of UV lamps in the system and significantly reduces the station spot.

02 /
Selective UV sensors

Selective UV sensors are used, which only measure the actual 254 nm wavelength that is actually working and not the entire UV spectrum.

03 /
Power control

The UV unit can be equipped with an automatic power regulation system that saves energy depending on the quality and quantity of incoming water. The system uses data from a flow meter and its own UV sensor.

04 /
Autonomous operation

UV units of ‘VOLTA’ group do not require constant presence of an operator and can work in automatic mode.

Description:

Installations of the ‘VOLTA’ group - housing equipment with cross flowing UV-lamps with water, with unit capacity from 500 to 10 000 m³/hour. They are manufactured for large UV-stations of cities and enterprises. The transverse arrangement of the lamps minimises pressure losses at the UV plant, and the staggered arrangement increases mixing and UV efficiency. UV chambers are equipped with all necessary connections and fittings for filling and emptying the chamber, for chemical washing of quartz cases.
