UV lamps up to 1 kW are used, which reduces the number of UV lamps in the installation and significantly reduces the station spot.
Selective UV sensors are used, which only measure the actual 254 nm wavelength that is actually working and not the entire UV spectrum.
The UV unit can be equipped with an automatic power regulation system that saves energy depending on the quality and quantity of incoming water. The system uses data from a flow meter and its own UV sensor.
Yukon UV units are equipped with a system of chemical cleaning of quartz covers. They can be equipped with a mechanical cleaning system, which cleans the covers without interrupting the disinfection process.
Yukon group units are design case equipment with longitudinal flow of water around UV lamps, with unit capacity from 50 to 3 500 m³/hour. The unique wide range of different series within the group allows to choose the optimal UV unit for each project, reducing capital and operating costs. Various inlet and outlet configurations are available to suit the specific project. Standard operating pressure is 10 atm, equipment up to 20 atm can be customised.
