The UV modules of the MURRAY group can have from 4 to 18 UV lamps. This enables the UV station to be optimally configured for the specific application, which is particularly important when switching from chlorine to UV disinfection in existing plants.
For the MURRAY UV systems, a static overflow or an automatic shutter can be used.
MURRAY modules are equipped with a pneumatically operated mechanical cleaning system.
The positioning of the UV lamps along the flow increases the contact time of the UV light with the water, which results in a higher UV dose.
MURRAY is a group of UV stations based on horizontal tray UV modules for water disinfection in gravity flow schemes. The equipment of the group has two different series for water of different quality: G series (for water with UV transmittance above 50 per cent) and F series (for water with UV transmittance below 50 per cent).
In order to ensure optimal system configuration and to reduce energy costs during disinfection, recommendations on equipment selection are given upon customer request. Specifications and layout options are tailored to the specific operating conditions.
